A survey conducted by Alan Kale on behalf of ELAK Consultants Ltd for Potatoes New Zealand resulted in "Report on the Economic and Business Impacts of Potato Psyllid on the Potato Industry" published June 2011 and can be viewed here.
The following information summarises the latest research progress to June 2011 from the Sustainable Psyllid Management research programme (SFF Project 09-143). These research updates were presented at a meeting held at Lincoln University on 21 June 2011.

The Handbook of pests and diseases for New Zealand potato growers was published by the Potato Product Group in 2007. It includes information on the identification and transmission of over fifty major pests and diseases, as well as notes on key exotic pests. The handbook is illustrated with large full colour photos, is fully laminated for use in the paddock, and comes with a magnifier to help with pest and disease identification.
