New independent Director
Potatoes New Zealand has appointed its first independent director, Todd Hughes, to represent the views and interests of the broader potato industry. Todd's appointment is the first step to achieve Potato New Zealand's objective in its Strategic Plan to broaden the organisation from one that represents growers to the entire potato industry.
Todd manages the Turners and Growers operation in Pukekohe and is a member of T&G's domestic management team. He has been involved in the marketing of potatoes since joining Turners & Growers in Te Puke in 1985, and is passionate about selling a healthy, nutritious product to Kiwis.
